Founder & CEO
Jon, founder and CEO, manages seedsprint’s European operations from Paris. He moved there 20 years ago to set up an office for the M&A boutique he founded, JH Lillian & Co. Chad Kanner
Chad is Research Manager at seedsprint, responsible for mapping and acquiring content relating to the world’s emerging technologies. In that role, he also manages our STAR Program (Student and Technology Ambassadors for Recruitment), where seedsprint
employs undergraduate STEM majors to research emerging technologies and dialogue with startups teams. Chad has a BS in Physics from Georgetown University, whose Institute for Soft Matter guided his research in advanced materials and energy-related environmental conservation.

Starting in catalyst research, he successively lead different R&D entities of the group – polyethylene, high performance materials, global polyolefin’s research – before being appointed New Business Development Director in 2000. From 2004 to 2011, he held the Solvay seat at the Advisory Boards of three Venture Funds (Pangaea II, Canada – Conduit Ventures Ltd, UK – KAM, Korea) and was an active Board member of a start-up in the field of printed electronics (Plextronics – Pittsburgh, USA) and of Solvicore (Hanau, Germany), a JV between Umicore and Solvay for the development of Fuel Cells Materials. He is Honorary President of EIRMA (European Industrial Research Management Association) where he served, from 2008 to 2013 as President of the Governing Board. From 2009 to 2014, he joined the Advisory Boards of Georgia Tech (Atlanta, USA), CEA-PFNC (Grenoble, France), and the Manchester Business School (UK). In 2009, Dr. Demiddeleer was appointed member of the Belgian Royal Academy for the Section Technology and Society. He currently teaches “Industrial Chemical Innovation“ at Brussels University, works with Georgia Tech as a Director for Development in Europe and Chairs the Board of McPhy Energy (Grenoble, France).

Edwin Kwon

EDWIN KWON has over 30 years of technical and management experience at leading technology companies including Samsung, Philips/NXP, Nvidia, and LG. As a Silicon Valley-based LG executive, he was responsible for the firm’s critical external innovation functions
where he managed teams responsible for emerging technology scouting and due diligence which resulted in over 60 transactions in the form of partnerships, direct investments and acquisitions. In that role, he was a driving force in partnering with Apple, to supply Apple Camera modules, a multibillion-dollar business.
Edwin’s deep domain knowledge extends to Semiconductors, Consumer Electronics, Software, and Telecom Services covers, technical, strategic and transactional expertise. He has personally conducted or orchestrated more than 400 due diligence exercises that culminated in dozens of collaboration and investment transactions. Edwin holds seven US patents in the field of digital video processing. In addition to an MSEE from Hanyang University, he has participated in several key executive education courses and holds a program certificate in Dynamic Innovation from MIT Sloan.
